Do you use genuine parts?
D's Time Service only uses genuine replacement parts for all of the brands we service. If we cannot locate a genuine replacement part for a brand we do not typically service, we will notify you as to the best solution for your time piece.

In some cases, the manufacturer will require your watch be sent to them for specific replacement parts.

Why Service Your Watch?
Your watch is comprised of hundreds of moving parts, many of these parts needing lubrication to function efficiently. Over time, this lubrication breaks down creating bi-products that can damage the mechanics of your watch in addition to creating unnecessary wear on your movement. To prevent this, it is best to have your precious time piece serviced at regular intervals to assure it peforms at optimal efficiency and endures no unnecessary wear.
Is Your Watchmaker Certified?
The American Watchmakers-Clockmakers Institute (AWCI) along with the worlds leading watch manufacturers created a new series of certifications to establish the very highest level of skill needed to properly service high grade mechanical watches. This benchmark is called the CW21 Certification. Currently there are approximately 130 CW21 watchmakers in the United States.
